Cristina Sanchez-Jaquez, M.D.
Dr. Sanchez serves as Medical Consultant to the Caluya Foundation. She completed medical school in the Dominican Republic, followed by a Residency in Psychiatry at Texas Tech Health Center in El Paso, Texas, and a Fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Sanchez is board certified in Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is the Medical Director at Pearl Health Clinic in Idaho. Dr. Sanchez is interested in promoting mental health awareness and well- being through education and the creation of a partnership between patients, their loved ones and establishing lasting relationships in the community. Through the Caluya Foundation, Dr. Sanchez supports developing outreach programs that focus on prevention, integration, de-stigmatization and inclusion with a special interest in minorities and under-served populations.
